循環

和して輪となり環になる。

・倭の民である私たちが、集い和して、自然への感謝と祈りの輪を繋げて環にし、循環させて行けるように。

・青い海原の大きな波を表現している日本古来の文様・青海波をモチーフにしました。
自然と共生してきた倭の民・日本人であることに誇りを感じ、和のモチーフを選びました。

・この文様は日本だけでなく、エジプトやペルシャなど、世界各地で見られる文様なので、国内国外で広く認知されており、分かりやすく、老若男女問わず誰からも親近感も持ってもらいやすい。

源

生物の命の源である水。独立して循環している。その大元である海。

・湘南の海と空のイメージであり、水の色であるブルーを選びました。
・色のイメージを際だたせるため、単色にしました。

●wave

The waves are patterned like ripples. I have a wish that our action sends ripples from Shonan, Japan to the rest of the world. Each wave may be small, but as waves ripple through, they gather strength to form bigger waves. What we can do at a time may be small, but as we continue to do what we can, a difference will be made. Coexistence with the Earth. Appreciation and respect for the ocean and the Earth. These are the waves we want to send from Shonan.

●circulation

In Japanese, "wa" means harmony and it symbolizes our culture and the way we are. It also means circle and link. Wishing that we gather in harmany and form circles of appreciation for nature and link our efforts into a circulation, I selected a traditional "wa" motif called "Sei-gai-ha," representing the blue ocean. The motif appears also in other cultures, and many people around the world recognize it and are familiar with it.

Water is a source of life. Water is self-supporting and it circulates.
The ocean is a source of water and life.
I selected this blue color, because it is an image of the skies in Shonan and the water.
I drew only one color, because I wanted to emphasize its image.
